After a decisive victory at the Qatar Grand Prix, the Red Bull driver has substantially closed the gap in the driver's standings. The turnaround began with substantial technical upgrades introduced by Red Bull at the Monza. Adjustments to the car's floor and aerodynamic package solved persistent performance deficits, allowing Verstappen to regain confidence with the car once more.

From then on, the results has been utterly spectacular, securing five victories and multiple podiums. He was eager to praise the teamwork behind this resurgence.

"We've won races where maybe we shouldn't have, through the right call as a unit," he explained. "My collaboration with my race engineer and the whole team... we are deeply connected."

As the teams head to Abu Dhabi, the championship picture is utterly compelling.
